Everyone was worried about Obama and his infamous death panels. They were going to make the choice whether someone would live or die by the feasability and cost to the insurance. Everyone fought the "Obama Care" and made such a stink about this part of the issue. Well folks, the Governor and his cuts just might have brought this "Angel of Death" back to life.
Scott wants to make 17% cuts to the Medicare and Medicaid system. By cutting into this portion of the budget will probably mean that some people will die for lack of care or medication due to the malfeasence of our past practice of spending. Many people will be rushed to over worked emergency rooms to take care of problems that your insurance could have taken care of in a much safer and efficient way.
Scott will make this a survival of the fittest State and some people will surely become sicker and die. The needy are always the first to take the hit when it comes to such issues as healthcare while other programs that could be cut back will virtually survive with modest cuts.
So Floridians, anyway you look at it, Florida will have it's own Death Panel and the Governor will sign it into effect. The State Legislature will vote it past. Elderly and sick Floridians will pay for the cost of this. Why should they care because we are just numbers on a social security card?

Hey Mark. The cattle have already gotten out because nobody cared. To late to try and shut the door now. Everyone had a chance to stand up and fight for what was right - you know - like FREEDOM - but we can't get people in Debary to debate something logically let alone try to shout in the right direction to make a difference. I could not get an intelligent debate from people in Debary if I paid for it. So suck it up and stop the 'boo hoo hooing' because it falls on deaf ears.

Bob, people will only talk when they have passion for an issue that directly involves or influences their own lives. This is basic human nature and maybe self-centered but not unusual. I put things out there and if people want to respond, this is their chance. I am not crying about a subject but just reminding everyone of the subtle irony of the subject. The people did not want Death Panels and were afraid of them and Legislature could become the ultimate Death Panel.
