Community Events Planning Committee Last Night

We at the Community Events Planning Committee would like to thank everyone for attending and participating in this exciting meeting. We had current Councilmen as well as former Councilmen Lenny Marks and Norm Erickson. Discussion was about hosting a Fourth of July Celebration at Gemini Park. We need volunteers to assist in this tremendous civic project.

Our next meeting will be at Riviera Bella on March 3rd. Time and details will be announced as they are worked out. Come join this exciting time in our city and become a part of this tremendous endeavor. Lets make the citizens of The River City proud on July 4th.

Sunday Greetings,

I would like thank you for attending this past Thursday's Community Events Committee meeting. I appreciate everyone's time and desire to make our City and our part of Volusia County a better place. During the meeting's discussions the idea of having a 4th of July Celebration was very well received and now it is time to further discussions in planning the event. Our next meeting will take place on Thursday, March 3rd and the location will be finalized tomorrow. I once again thank you and look forward to working with you to make these events into memorable experiences for our community.
