The city council took another step on Wednesday night to let everyone know that they are NOT business friendly. I am not saying that the request from Shotz should have been granted but I am saying that the petitioner should have been granted a chance to explain and 'show' why his request should have been granted. I think the council was afraid that he might have been able to show them where they were wrong so while he was out putting together his presentation they chose to ignore the extension request from his associate. This council knows NOTHING about business (in my opinion) and I have a lot more to say about it on Monday night at 8:00 pm. www.bobindebary.com Phone lines will be open...what is your opinion???

DeBary is more anti business than Deltona. The best thing that ever happened is the Marks brothers leaving in January!

with out a signed letter from the OWNER stating that SOMEONE else had the right to speak for him or her I would not have voted for it either. This was a hearing at the council meeting .What if they would have delayed it then the next day the owner came to city hall asking why they did that . He could have stated that nobody has the right to speak for him or her. Plus there are rules to follow no matter what we think. Yes I think he should of been able to speak, but if it where me I would have known exactly what I had to do because I would have done my research. Besides that he does not have the right license to serve outside.

What is the 'right' license? If you know I will respond. (use your spell check)

If you go to the debary web site and view the last council meeting when the hearing started you will hear for yourself what license he needs to serve liquor outside and the requirement for that license. You where at the meeting Bob did you not hear Mr. Parrot state what type of license was required? Also Shotz is in the part of the corridor that does not allow a pool. To be perfectly honest with you If I lived behind the bar I would not want a pool or any outside permanent gatherings. You have people living right there!! as far as my spell check lets see if I can spell this correct """"SCREW YOU""""""" ;D I only hope when I grow-up I am half as perfect as you
